Itinerario detallado

Cordillera Blanca is a natural area, one of the most important tourist destinations in the world. It is 400km north of Lima, in Ancash district. It is the highest tropical mountain range in the world, counting with a high quantity of mountains that exceed 5000 and 6000 meters high.
Between the, there is one the most beautiful mountains in the world, “Alpamayo”. This mountain range, with its 180 km long, is into Huascarán National Park, and has been declared “Natural World Heritage” by Unesco.


Day 1: Acclimatization day hike around Huaráz

Day 2: Transfer Huaráz - Cashapampa – trekking to Llamacorral

Day 3: Trekking Llamacorral – Cerro Alpamayo base camp – Taullipampa camp

Day 4: Trekking Taullipampa – Paso Punta Unión – Huaripampa camp

Day 5: Trekking Huaripampa – Pacha

Day 6: Trekking Pacha – Cebollapampa camp

Day 7: Ascent from Cebollapampa to Cerro Pisco base camp

Day 8: Base camp – high camp Morrena 4950 metres

Day 9: Climb to Cerro Pisco 5752 metres and back to the base camp

Day 10: Base camp - Cebollapampa – transfer to Huaráz

Day 11: Transfer from Huaráz to Lima city airport

NECESSARY EQUIPMENT

• Waterproof breathable jacket with hood
• Waterproof over trousers
• Warm cap and sun cap
• Light and warm gloves
• Spare socks
• Trekking or training shoes
• 50 litres minimum
• Mountian boots for running shoes

• Plastic bags
• Sun-glasses
• Ski poles. A pair of telescopic poles ideally.
• Sunblock.
• Lips sunblock

For programs longer than 1 day

• Personal hygiene items
• Torch / headlamp
• Personal medicines
• Spare clothes
